Twitter CEO Invalidates Communications Minister’s Claim That He’s Relocating To Ghana

Twitter recently made an announcement that they are choosing Ghana to establish Africa’s Headquarters of Twitter in Accra.

The announcement was celebrated by many in Ghana and beyond including the president of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who also went on his Twitter handle to welcome the news.

The Communications and Digitalisation Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, went further to indicate that the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, is expected to relocate to Ghana following the decision to make Ghana Africa’s Headquarters of Twitter.

Jack Dorsey did not hesitate to go under the relocation post first published by Asaase Radio to debunk the claim that his planning to relocate to Ghana as part of the plans to establish the Headquarters of Twitter in Ghana for Africa.

He indicated that he had no plans of relocating to Ghana any time soon as being claimed by the Minister but hopes to do so in the near future.

“No plans yet! But def going to at some point.” Jack Dorsey commented
