Vodafone Ghana holds virtual skills fair

As part of efforts to support the government’s agenda to address unemployment and a digital skills gap among the youth, Vodafone Ghana, is set to host a virtual skill fair on Friday, August 27, 2021.

Dubbed “LevelUp”, the fair will provide career guidance, access to training content and help the youth make informed career choices through a series of speaker sessions.

A press statement issued by Vodafone said the one-day event will host industry experts who will share their knowledge, experiences, and skills with the youth through engaging presentations.

Speakers

Speakers for the virtual event include Vodafone CEO, Mrs Patricia Obo-Nai; the Founder and Executive Director of Salt & Light Ministries and a former Minister of State, Rev Dr Joyce Aryee; the Human Resource Director at Vodafone Ghana, Mrs Hannah Ashiokai Akrong; PR and Media Relations Manager at Consolidated Bank Ghana, Alhaji Abu Issa Monnie and retired Ghanaian professional footballer, Mr Stephen Appiah.

The event will also host Digital Marketing Strategist and Technology Consultant; Mr Maximus Ametorgoh; Founder of Kollage Media, producers of GLITZ AFRICA Magazine and Events, Ms Claudia Lumor; globally experienced Certified High-performance Coach CHPC™️ and Soft Skills Expert, Mr Dzigbordi Kwaku-Dosoo and the Lead Enabler Marketing & Communications Professional, Mr Stephen N. Boadi.
