Speaking on United Showbiz with UTV, Ghanaian actress and producer, Matilda Asare has described the #fixthecountrynow campaign as needless.

The actress confidently stated that there’s nothing wrong with the country that needs to be fixed

“Everything is fine in Ghana, there is no war, kids are going to school, doctors and teachers are are at work, and government officials are on duty and noone is on strike” she explained her assertion further.

The show host Nana Ama Mcbrown asked the actress ‘what about power supply?”

“The #fixthecountrynow campaigners need to be specific on their demand, they need to mention what they want the government to fix in the country, a lot is working in this country so they (the campaigners) can’t generalize the challenges and ask the entire country to be fixed” she answered.

“The power outages are not occurring for for years and don’t affect everyone in this country. Those affected are even given time table on the situation so the system is working” she added.
