38 drivers are expected to report to the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service for various road infractions.

The errant drivers were captured by the Motor Traffic Monitoring and Surveillance Centre of the Ghana Police Service as part of Citi TV‘s War Against Indiscipline (WAI).

They were arrested for offences including unauthorized parking, neglecting road markings, and unauthorized stopping, among others.

The 38 drivers are to report to the Police MTTD voluntarily or face arrest.

In the past, drivers who breached various Road Traffic Regulations and were caught by the WAI team, were processed for court and fined.

The War Against Indiscipline campaign by Citi TV is also aimed at ensuring sanity on the road as well as putting pressure on duty-bearers to enforce the law to tackle indiscipline in the country.

The Police, in partnership with Citi TV, had in the last few days embarked on a number of operations where culprits caught breaking the laws are arrested and put before court.

#WAI, since it started, has charged citizens to be responsible while reporting other irresponsible drivers by filming them in a name and shame approach.
