Man arrested for accusing Prez. Mahama of meeting Al-Qaeda group

The Bono Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party, Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye DC was initially invited by the Ghana Police Service for questioning.

This followed a claim he made earlier that the former President Mr. John Dramani Mahama had approached the Al-Qaeda militants group in a bid to help him become president again.

Mr Kwame Baffoe reported to the Accra Regional Police Command following the invitation where he was formally arrested.
