Ghanaians on social media are asking the courts to temper justice with mercy in the case involving socialite Rosemond Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo.
The actress was convicted on her own plea on Wednesday, April 14 by an Accra Circuit Court.
She had pleaded not guilty to the publication of obscene material and two counts of engaging in domestic violence after she posed nude with her seven-year-old son on his birthday.
The complaint as lodged at the police by Executive Director of Child Rights International Bright Appiah.
The socialite has since apologised for her action.
But after she was convicted on Wednesday, Ghanaians on Twitter did not take kindly to the decision and have since hit the trends with #FreeAkuapemPoloo.
