A 51-year-old man, Osman Nasir has drowned in the Volta river in Atimpoku in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.
The deceased alleged to be mentally unstable for some time now went missing on July 11, 2021, but his body was found washed ashore on July 14, 2021.
His body has since been retrieved by a joint team of Police, NADMO, and Environmental Officers.
The body has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
