Mensah becomes the second Black Stars player to have tested positive for the COVID-19 after Bernard Mensah was confirmed with the virus after the international break.
Currently, a Black Stars management member, Jones Abu Alhassan is said to be self-isolating in Turkey after he also tested positive.
Ahead of the Mali game, it was confirmed that four players of the Eagles had tested positive for the virus.
